Girls at table doing homework and skyping
The back lanai could be a perfect place to escape from the girls. But I'd have to screen it in, as the mosquitoes are quite persistent. I think it has something to do with the two hundred or so bromiliads the former owner planted on the property - they collect water in their leaves and the mosquitoes lay eggs in it.

Henrietta showed up again. I put the Chick-N-Nesting Box out for her. She didn't like it.





No matter, I used it upside down in the backyard to shelter rat poison from the rain. The rats had been eating my beautiful avocados before I could harvest them.
