Aloha is real

Yes, Aloha is real.  Here's a very small example - do you know anywhere else that would put a flower on a no smoking sign and the only word on it be "thank you" (in Hawaiian)?  It's a very gentle spirit that exists here.

Here's another example. "Kokua" means "Care" in Hawaiian. Since the sign says "please kokua," does that mean engine braking is optional?

But the best Aloha examples are those involving people. Three different locals helped me get my car jumped when I had a dead battery. This Good Samaritan gave us the ultimate jump, even digging the jumper cables out of his back seat. He didn't know me from Adam's Housecat, just willing to help someone in distress.
