CHAPTER 5 ~ RETHINKING THE CHICKEN AND THE EGG, AND OTHER MEATY MATTERS
We got an egg!
April 12
In April we found a small egg at the side of the house. It was in the third of three 'nest-like' grass mounds. It must have been from one of the hens across the street.
Greg tried to lure the chicken to lay more eggs by making a soft nest out of dryer lint. But alas, we did not find any more eggs in this location.
